The year 2023 has been exciting and busy for SJPA. A quick search on our web site shows that we have posted 50 times during the year! That is, on average, one post per week!
We are very happy to have had the opportunity to work with many interesting groups and artists such as beatMario, Chemical X, DA•BAMBI, The Devil’s Killing Merry-go-round, FiDZ, Himari Tsukishiro (ISILIEL), Kanjosen Akubi (MAD JAMIE), Naniwa Danshi, SAI, SARI, Taisei Fukumoto (Ae! group), Travis Japan, Yuffie Sakimura (GARUDA / Melon Batake a Go Go) and Yuto Nakajima (Hey! Say! JUMP!).
We have arranged performances with Japanese artist at Alternativfesten in Sandviken, Confusion in Gothenburg, Kodachicon in Lund, Närcon Vinter and Närcon Sommar in Linköping and Uma Obscura in Umeå. We have also arranged our own concert at Patricia in Stockholm. We have also organized a number of digital events.
Something very special for us during the year is that multiartist SARI has chosen to live one year in Sweden. This has made it possible to present Japanese music and culture on a wider scale in Sweden. We are very happy about this long term collaboration!
